Gayathri Sivakumar is a Sustainable Architect with her work scope aligning to Policy Implementation, Energy Efficient Building Consultancy, and organising capacity buildings awareness programs. She is a GRIHA-CP (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment-Certified Professional) and IGBC-AP (Indian Green Building Council - Accredited Professional)....

As a Programme Officer for IDSPL she works on project proposal development, development of ECBC-R code and writing research papers and journal articles. She is currently working as a Senior Project Officer and coordinating ECBC cells of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep, Puducherry, Goa, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Chhattisgarh for All India Institute of Local Self Government. Prior to this, she was working as a Research Associate in IFMR - LEAD (July 2016 - July 2017), Chennai working on a research project regarding, "Concurrent Evaluation of the Energy Conservation Building Code in the states of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka."

She has completed my Masters in Sustainable Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada and Bachelors in Architecture from Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur. She has an interest in the field of Green and Energy Efficient Architecture and projects with a scope for environmentally sensitive design approach.
